Sure, my bad ... I should have posted in a separate, more appropriate forum (like the Currie cup)

... back on the topic, it might be stating the obvious, but Saracens while having 9 south Africans, do not make up the bulk of the squad, so why would the success? be due to these players only?

... I've haven't been following the Aviva Premiership until this year, but they did get Second last year, right? ... so essentially the article is saying that the reason they were the SECOND best team is because of the South African influence?

That is actually quiet a good and yet true statement. Probably their best SA player is Schalk Brits, who would only be garuanteed a starting place at the Lions
