So with Stowers (Didn't see that one coming) where does that leave us with Bearman and Collins/Holah? (Who I presume are moving)

Next season I'd guess our backrow will be-

6. Stowers
7. Tipuric
8. Ryan Jones

With JT possibly moved up into the 2nd Row again, or Ian Evans, who should really be challenging for the Wales squad again. The other can join Bearman on the bench.

Well the rumours are that Collins and Holah are off, so i presume its the reason why the O's have bought Stowers. Annoyingly though, I feel we have enough up and coming talent there to warrant not buying anyone in the back-row, especially with Bearman coming as well. I'd rather see a welsh backrow being developed in Tupuric, Jones and Bearman or even Smith, than having an ageing ex higher tier nation backrow.

Also with the arrival of yet another over seas scrum half, i really dont know where the ospreys' heads are. Rhys Webb has been superb since Phillips has been on wales duty, and on current form, Webb should be our number 1 - He's got our backs ticking and firing a little (more than what Philips has done all season).

I don't agree with poaching players from other clubs, very unfair on the dragons. Their doing the grafting and breeding youngsters into the game (and so the scarlets as well) and then we snatch em when their fully developed. Surely we have enough emerging talent in "Ospreylia" to develop our own guys, and not "steal" off the "smaller" clubs (I use that term loosely with no intent of disrespect - I have a huge amount of respect for the Dragons). Time will tell at least.

Cheika is doing all he can to get few Leinster. But it wouldn't be worst thing for Leinster either considering Ross is there and ye have a few decent backup guys and not to forget Hagan

Meh, we have better young backs. Can't blame him for going really. Darce, BOD and Shaggy will be here for a bit longer, then you have Fergus, Luke, the Kearneys, Conway, Isa, Macken, O'Malley and so on. We'll be alright.

It's a great move for Morris. At Leinster he's behind Horgan, Nacewa, Fitzgerald, Conway, McFadden and Kearney for a spot on the wing. He won't have that level of traffic in front of him at Leicester but is still joining a big club (bigger than Leinster IMO) with a chance to win trophies.

On Leinster's current squad pruning, you've got to wonder if the timing is right. We've got a world cup coming up during which we're going to lose:

Ross, Healy, Cullen, Hines, Ruddock, O'Brien, Jennings, Heaslip, Reddan, possibly Boss, possibly Ryan, Sexton, McFadden, Drico, D'arce, Shaggy, Fitzy and Kearney. Who the hell is going to play????

We should all expect a call up Feic ....:p

Natal Sharks second row Steven Sykes, Crusaders' outhalf Matt Berquist and Jamie Hagan from Connacht have all signed for Leinster for next season.

Maguire is a very good signing for Connacht. He's shown talent for Ireland u20 and Lenster A but his pathway to full Leinster honours is blocked. At Connacht he'll bide his time behind Rodney Ah You but could easily play 20+ games next season. Hopefully he'll get his fitness up to scratch because I'm not convinced he can play 80 minutes week in week out- then again modern tightheads don't tend to play more than 60 minutes per game and are rotated frequently.

It's a great move for Maguire and resembles Jamie Hagan's move west two years ago.

I always liked Maguire. A huge unit with great power in the scrum. He could really be a good impact sub as he finds his feet at this level.

One deal that won't be going ahead, however, is the transfer of former Wallaby David Lyons to Toulon. High wage demands was apparently the sticking point with the Scarlets player, although he remains in contact with Stade Francais with an eye to signing for Michael Cheika's outfit.

Could he stay at the Scarlets?

Luther Burrell to Sale Sharks (has been reported by everyone apart from Sale - his team mates, commentators, match reports, news papers etc. all say he's going to Sale but it's not been announced yet)

Daily Express (I think?) are saying Sam Tuitopou is heading to Sale as well
