Laidlaw's passes are too high and slow...allows the maori's plenty of time to push up.

Sinckler is able to get the ball out of the ruck faster than laidlaw. Since laidlaw and Biggar have come on the lions have been going backwards and throwing hospital passes. How any Scots could think laidlaw was actually decent...
