Anyone watching? I used to go to this (only University I ever went to was the University of Life!!) as it was such on occasion and we used to have to "beg steal and borrow" to get tickets and always ended up in some sleasey "cafe" back in Central London in no fit state to eat.............now I watch it and they cannot even fill the lower tier at Twickers!!
Seems that it has really gone past its sell by date from the times when it was the only time to see really fit young men playing with flair and abandon at their full potential after school, where they were still growing, and before club rugby, where the real drinking started!!!
Also gone are the number of players that played for these universities and soon became internationals!!
Those were the days..................!!!
What an opening try from the Oxford 9, Sam Egerton!! Brilliant....looked like Will Greenwood in full flight!
