Beaver to start!

And soon we will have world peace :D

good side, I would have McNicol on the right wing...

CHIEFS: Damian McKenzie, Toni Pulu, Seta Tamanivalu, Anton Lienert-Brown, James Lowe, Stephen Donald, Brad Weber; Tom Sanders, Sam Cane, Taleni Seu, Brodie Retallick, Dominic Bird, Hiroshi Yama****a, Hika Elliot, Kane Hames. Reserves: Nathan Harris, Siegfried Fisi'ihoi, Atu Moli, Mitchell Brown, Lachlan Boshier, Tawera Kerr-Barlow, Aaron Cruden, Sam McNicol.

Fair play giving Beaver a start, he was really impressive in the Welsh game.

Horrell can't even make the bench.

Brutal game

surprised not a lot of talk about this game given that its easily the game of the round.

Chiefs defense was quite amazing.

beaver had a very handy game before he went off with what looked like a slight hammy issue. he well and truly justified his selection. Still needs to work on his match fitness a bit but it did look a bit better compared to the welsh game. Though that welsh game he was pretty much all over the park.

Chiefs forwards were generally better around the park and managed to hold of the crusaders scrum which is probably the best in super rugby.

Brad Webber was very strong. Got to ask with performances like that why isn't he part of the AB's? Hes going to keep TKB on the chiefs bench...

McKenzie was very good, the head to head puts things back into perspective. Its been good to see Dagg regain form and favor but McKenzie completely outplayed Dagg to put things back into perspective.

Generally interesting to see the chiefs win such a big game like that without Charlie Ngatai or a big contribution from Cruden, shows amazing depth. Donald taking pressure off Cruden and the rise of anton lienert-brown. hes been simmering behind the scenes for the chiefs for a couple of years but this year hes really lifted his game. And then there is Tom Sanders filling in for Leitch, hes having an very impressive season.
