I think he's definitely out for the first game at least, might be ok for the rest.
https://www.skysports.com/amp/rugby...-xv-to-take-on-south-africa-in-the-first-testWhat’s Watburtons team? I last I saw he wanted to play Watson and Curry.
I don’t know about team selections but I’ve enjoyed his punditry. Especially considering how dire the BBC 6N coverage usually is.
If only they could test whether someone has ever juiced, because once you've juiced you can maintain muscle that you could never have grown in the first place. Sure, its better if you continue juicing, but…Wonder if they will have a propper juice test for this group(suddenly Eben has to go to Russia for family emergency)
Then they’d have to ban the entire SA team.If only they could test whether someone has ever juiced, because once you've juiced you can maintain muscle that you could never have grown in the first place. Sure, its better if you continue juicing, but…
Realistically if they start testing properly there's not a pro rugby player in the sport that's making it onto the pitch
Everyone will be on something, be it banned painkillers or something to aid in recovery or something to aid in cardio or just straight up growth hormone or whatever
I think the only reason SA has a bad rep is because Craven week is far more popular/is a more direct line into pro rugby than schools rugby in the rest of the world - they also don't have the teams of sports scientists advising them on the best "supplement" regime, so it's just stuff bought off the dark web/dodgy bloke down the gym, which is easier to test for - if you compared some of the physiques of pro-academy players (/the transformations of kids going into an academy/a season or two later) then they'd look just as suss
I'm not in the rugby is completely clean crowd but that is a ridiculous statement. Not a chance every player is on a banned substance. Over 50 quite possibly/probably but saying that every single player is on a banned substance is as ridiculous a statement as saying none of them or on anything.
Yeah wife's nephew is in late 20's now which is why I'm highly dubious. It's also easy for us old farts to not know (or have forgotten) how easy it is to put on muscle as a late-teen whilst clean - especially if we were largely trying to play rugby (and probably other sports as well) alongside the gym work.
I take decaf kush the odd time, started when I was struggling to sleep in early lockdown this year. It definitely helped then and when I use it now (a couple times a week max and could easily go a month without it) I feel slightly more relaxed, haven't experienced any negatives.CBD is big in American sports matter of time before it grew here.
NGL friend takes them and recommended it to me. Tempted to try.
Its almost hillarious looking back it now all these swimmers (mainly American) with those big circular marks over their bodies looking like idiots and trying to justify it scientifically. Then within 4 years they'd all stopped.I've tried CBD in the past and found it did nothing,
Not sure if it's just the latest snake oil (like when cupping was a big thing a few olympics ago) or if I just need to pay for higher concentrations of the stuff - whenever you see athletes taking it they're necking the bottles that are £100+ a pop
I always go for the highest concentration vape juice and gummies. There's a relaxing element to vaping anyway so could be a placebo for sure.I've tried CBD in the past and found it did nothing,

It depends what you're using it for; and then getting the dosage right for the individual. And of course, just like everything else, everyone reacts differently.I've tried CBD in the past and found it did nothing,
Still see the odd athlete doing it - few rugby players on social media, crossfit athletes love it - and the odd MMA fighter tooare the idiots still doing it?
