Part of the reason for it being such an easy target for Putin was the local support. This made it harder for international community to oppose as they weren't enforcing Russian occupation against the peoples will.

Anybody that thinks Putin was ever going to give up Crimea simply because of the race or political make up of it is crazy. This argument over that is a nothing. The fact is Putin has come out of it with the moral high ground on this issue not NATO or the US.

If you look at by facebook feed you'd think Corbyn is going to win the next GE by a massive electoral landside. Hell you lokk at Corbyn's vs May's the political reality is very different.

On the BBc website you'd think the Nation voted 90% for Brexit where in reality it was 52%.

Plus Assange is no friend of Trump or anyone. He's a guy with website who's one goal is to embarrass people at the moment where it gets most exposure. He has no regard for national security or the political reality of his actions as long as it feeds his ego and self image.
