I have come to the conclusion the Laureus World Sports Awards are a joke.

How can England & South Africa Rugby teams have been given the team of the year awards in '03 and '08 and the ABs have never have received it.

ESPECIALLY this year given their results (and the year before too)

What's so suprising about Bayern Munich? I'm not a big follower of football, but some of their stats are ridiculous.. they've already won the Bundesliga 25+ points clear unbeaten and haven't lost a game in 18 months..

They've played 27 this season so far, winning 25 and drawing 2 - therefore they are unbeaten. They've got 117/123 available points so far from the last 41 Bundesliga games, and you don't need to be a football fan to realize how incredible that is..

Seriously, not surprising at all considering last season they won the Bundesliga and the DFB-Pokal (German Cup Competition) with relative ease, plus the massive Champions League win, which included a demolition of Barcelona in the semi's. Add to that them winning this years Bundesliga with 7 games to spare and you've got some huge achievements.

All Blacks probably are a bit hard done having never won it, but not like they were "ripped-off" this year. And anyway, why the hell should they care? They're the best team in world rugby no matter what some random, meaningless cross-sport award says.

Actually they beat the Netherlands 3-2 in a friendly before the last European Championships (I think) Not sure if that counts.
