Biarritz team for tonight's match at Worcester

1- Barcella 2- Dabti 3- Broster
4- Lockley 5- Marie
6- Furno 7- Molcard 8- Fono
9- Roussarie 10- Peyrelongue (c.)
11- Brew 12- Gimenez 13- Sella 14- Ngwenya
15- Couet-Lannes
Subs 16- Whitteker 17- Synaeghel 18- Van Staden 19- Lund E. 20- Guyot 21- Lesgourgues 22- Baby 23- Waenga

So five members of the academy make the team and it is probably the first selection I have agreed with this season!! Do not confuse agreement with belief it can win but in the circumstances that BO finds itself through delusion (even now believeing they lost against UBB at the weekend only because their bench was stronger) and very poor management aided by injuries, this is the right team. Let us hope that they push for a more permanent positon in the first team as there are players here who should be playing more regularly there!

Not sure what team Worcester will select but it is a really pretty meaningless match between the worst teams in their respective leagues who are odds on favourites for relegation......so should be a cracker!!!

Sale's side for Oyonnax:

Rob Miller, Tom Brady, Mark Jennings, Jonny Leota, Phil MacKenzie, Nick Macleod, Will Cliff, Ross Harrison, Tommy Taylor, Vadim Cobilas, Andrei Ostrikov, Michael Paterson, Dan Braid, David Seymour, James Gaskell
Replacements Marc Jones, James Flynn, Tony Buckley, Jonathan Mills, Mark Easter, Joe Ford, Andy Forsyth, Mike Haley

With the exception of Cipriani being rested it's pretty much first choice, taking into account the large number of injuries we have atm. No 9 on the bench is worrying, but Cliff is our only fit 9 atm, and if we were to bring an academy player in for one of Peel/Fowles then they're gone for the Euro season, and they're both due back before long.
If we win tonight then it should see us through - Oyonnax would send their u17s to our place, and Worcester and Biarritz won't give a sh*t about Europe considering their league places (same for Oyonnax if we win tonight).

All true but watch out for Fortress Oyonnax...............not many teams win there although do not feel there is really any reason for them to fight even this game too hard in view of their perilous position in the league!

Try for Sale who seem to be having the most of the possession............3 7

Edit Soft soft riposte for Oyonnax as Sale go to sleep! 13,7

Try for Worcester affter huge amount of possession for BO against the wind. Brew misses tackle but Worcester winger Hammond was pretty smart and quick 7-0

Here we go......promising start but Sella at fault agains this time for the second try.....we get possession and we lose it.

12-0 now and being out played by Worcster!!!

Wait until we get you on out patch........!

Delighted the way they broke up that Worcester maul and turned the ball over with 14 men.............that was such a weak spot for BO last week...........about to say that Worcester should hammer the scum with Barcella off and Synegael on and then we win it and away goes Zee...Good to see Sella off for Waenga!

ALED EFFFFING BREW!! What are you doing!!!! That was a try if you held the effing ball!!

The youngsters for BO...........Couet Lannes, Molcard, Marie, Dabti and Rousserie plus Forno are all have good games and showing how it should be done!

Yann Lesgourges..............great opportunist try! 12 - 14..............who would have believed it!

Loads of Worcester pressure and now the big Viking Lund is on!!!

Here is hoping..............

Win or lose, I am more than happy with this performance from this team that is the future......give us a couple of centres, Waenga at 10 amd this team could mature into a decent team!

Will the management believe or revert to the old failures?

That looks like the win to me and I believe it is deserved!!

Dont you just love Sky..................they are saying it is the great robbery!! BO were the team that blew two or three clear cut tries with stupidity and they were the team that defended with aggression and power. Worcester, I am afraid, despite the excellent Warwick (never thought I would say that) were beaten and deservedly so!

**** off, we were robbed we were the better team and you know it nah only joking was a balanced game of rugby although i cant say that i was impressed by either side. The ref was shocking for both teams worcester were crap as usual cant see any hope this season as they pretty much put their first team out, a few of the academy players were ok like dean hammond who scored the first try. Only good news this week was that Chris Pennell signed a 3 year contract (why the **** would he want to do that) bad news was Sam Betty who had a stormer last weak went of limping today.

* i cant say that i was impressed by either side.

As members of the premier leagues of their countries, neither can I................but after the woeful error strewn rubbish, non existent attack and total lack of pride displayed by our penalty ridden lot all season, this was a breath of fresh air and very encouraging due to the age of a lot of the players on show............it is the first time that I can actually see a gleam of hope for the future!

See you next week..................!!

Disappointed with the loss, however looking at the results/scalps Oyonnax have claimed at home this season, I'm not too gutted.

We really need a better reserve tighthead than Buckley, though.
Also, one of Cueto or Arscott being fit would have made a big difference, as Haley did not have a good game off the bench.
