I'd have thought at least on of them would make it. Wow.
Yeah. I can't believe that Cheika picked a player like Martin Bogado who played 2 or 3 games in Highlanders instead of these guys who had great careers in Top 14

He said that he picked Bogado cause he's a stablished fullback meanwhile the other are wings who could play at 15 but aren't specialist. The last game against South Africa was the first time I saw Bogado played at 15 at professional level. So I have no idea TBH

I think it is good the Pumas didn't take Albornoz. He is more of a game manager, but not as good as Sanchez. I think the Pumas need a 10 with some pace who is a threat with ball in hand.

It'd be like Scotland playing with Healy at 10 it Australia with Leilifano at 10. Not a good fit with how a team with a non-dominant set piece needs to play.

I dont think so. Sanchez is a former player, I'd pick Albornoz every day over him. Santiago Carreras has pace cause he isn't a traditional 10, something that Argentina needs a lot a proved 10. Santiago Carreras is a wing/fullback who played at 10 at amateur level

I suppose Sanchez will be 35 if the Pumas reach the semis. I could probably go either way then. I didn't think he was quite that old given he is holding down a contract in France.

Remember that Joaquín Oviedo replace Santiago Grondona, and Mayco Vivas replace Nahuel Tetaz Chaparro, both injuried.
