Aviva Premiership - Round 1

Agree with what Austin Healey had to say there...

It's not a good message for the game to be forgiving teams for lying over the ball and slowing play down illegally but just being super quick to spot the slightest forward pass in creative attacking play.

Sarries are clearly coached to do that systematically - I don't understand how they get away with it, because it's painfully obvious.

Sale 13 - 16 Bath at halftime.

Bath's try sounds like one for Youtube - 1min into the game, Ford puts a high ball to the 22m, Tom Brady waits to catch it.....and Watson jumps over him, catches it, and goes under the sticks.

Very stop start game, been about 3.5million knockons. We've stolen three (I think?) lineouts - Hines got two in a row.

That clearout is fine. It's technically illegal, but its legal by how the game is reffed. If you stand up on the wrong side around the ruck, you might get hit. Tough. Savage hit someone as hard people should be hit around a ruck.

What?!
Did anyone know that Bet365 show Aviva games (including non-televised) live on their website? Just went to have a look at some odds and noticed the TV logo next the Sale game on the inplay, and there it is!

You have to have an active account (i.e. either have money in your account or placed a bit within the previous 24hrs), but they've got the games streaming on their inplay!

Wonderful second try for Wade after consummate kick through by Johnson and a wonderful thrashing of Ashton who was bounced by Tagickabua (sorry about spelling!!)
