There's no doubt he's the best prop of the tournament, and over the last 4 years he has easily been the best prop in the world.

I think he qualifies just by being French.

I'd rate Hayman, O.Franks, Castrogiovanni, Adam Jones as good if not better over the last four years. He's been good for Perpignan, but I can't recall him once bettering the All Blacks scrum (which is apparently very weak).

Before the final I rated Owen Franks higher... I rate them equally now, I think. Hayman has been awful for over a year now, while I do agree that Castro and Adam Jones are outstanding THP.

I agree that Hayman isn't what he once was since leaving New Zealand. Heck, he was still very good in New Castle. Maybe age has caught up with him? I still rate him as the best tighthead of all time.

I don't think the All Blacks scrum were better over the weekend. The stats certainly don't suggest that.

The 2 Du Plessis brothers from South Africa are a lethal combination, but we're a bit light on the loosehead prop side when it comes to scrummaging, both Beast and Gurthro Steenkamp are light props that excel in the loose part of the game...

maybe someone like Dean Greyling could join them... geez, now that would be immense!!

I really rate Steenkamp as a scrummager, probably the best scrummaging prop of 2010 in my opinion. Don't know how he can be considered a light weight prop, he's 125kgs.
