Nothing less than a bonus point win should be expected for Les Biarrots in this Friday's opening match of the 5th weekend of action.

Biarritz will be looking to continue the run they've had throughout the competition that should see them end up as number one seeds and book their now annual quarter final in San Sebastien.

Biarritz will need to cut down on the errors from the match with the Borders if they're to have a less stressfull occasion than they did with the Scots.

Biarritz seem to be taking this one pretty lightly having decided to rest several key players for the visit of Parma. The likes of Julien Peyrelongue, Nicolas Brusque, Dimitri Yachvili, Benoît August and Imanol Harinordoquy are rested, but Jérôme Thion will lead a side that features fit-again France wing Jimmy Marlu. Still shouldn't be any problem against the winless Italians.

Biarritz Olympique: 15 Benjamin Dambielle, 14 Philippe Bidabe, 13 Romain Cabannes, 12 Martin Gaitan, 11 Jimmy Marlu, 10 Marcelo Bosch, 9 Julien Dupuy, 8 Thomas Lievremont, 7 Mohammed Dridi, 6 Serge Betsen, 5 Jerome Thion (capt), 4 Santiago Dellappe, 3 Benoit Lecouls, 2 Benjamin Noirot, 1 Petru Balan.
Replacements: 16 Benoit August, 17 Denis Avril, 18 David Couzinet, 19 Gonzalo Padro, 20 Dimitri Yachvili, 21 Julien Peyrelongue, 22 Andrea Masi.

Overmach Parma: 15 Arthur Little, 14 Riccardo Robuschi, 13 Andrea Orsi, 12 Alessandro Chillon, 11 Nicola Mazzucato, 10 Alejandro Canale, 9 José Pellicena (capt), 8 Manoa Vosawai, 7 Liviu Pascu, 6 Robert Barbieri, 5 Juan Martin Soffredini, 4 Federico Minello, 3 Tino Paoletti, 2 Ludovic Zanini, 1 Michael Barbieri.
Replacements: 16 German Fontana, 17 Bruno Masetti, 18 Alberto De Marchi, 19 Marco Neethling, 20 Guilio Rubini, 21 Giovanni Ghidini, 22 Riccardo Pavan.

Biarritz have become the first team through to the quarter final following their win against Parma this evening.

Regardless of the result at Franklin's Gardens les Biarrots have qualified for the quarter final and they now only need a bonus point to guarantee a home quarter final at San Sebastien and the chance to create history by going through the pool stages with maximum points.

Like there was ever any chance to begin with of them not winning that game.
