Blues and All Blacks lock Anthony Boric may give up rugby for good.
Boric is battling a bulging disc in his neck and while initially ruled out for several weeks, he now won't return for at least two months.
He's told Radio Sport because it's his neck, he has to take extreme care.
Boric says it may mean the end of his rugby career.
"I'll cross that bridge when we come to it, in two months hopefully it's settled down and be fine, so it definitely is a possibility and something I've thought of."
Boric says he's ruled out surgery for now, but he may be forced into it down the track.

I sure hope not, been a shame to see him get so many injuries. But he's been rock solid every time he's taken the field. In fact I've thought that he and Thorn should have been given more time as NZ's best locking combo and this year he should have been the first to get a shot at taking over from brad full time.

Opens up another spot for the upcoming tests.

Hope he takes some motivation from Ali Williams, injury has hit Ali like a truck but he's worked his ass off and made it back to the top.

That's unfortunate f it has to happen that way.

I also thought Boric was the natural replacement for Thorn. Here's hoping for an Ali Williams-type comeback.

Though neck injuries are a different beast.
