British & Irish Lions 2025 General News and Chat

6 Month MINIMUM term. You have to keep it for at least 6 months, and cancel on the sixth or it goes up in price.

Sorry, I didn't read and inwardly digest... looks like it means you can cancel the first offer judging by how clear about cancelling early the second one is.

The blurb on their website says exactly that, the sports month membership is a monthly rolling contract.

I've just received an email from NowTV offering £24 per month (I'm already subscribed to their entertainment package)

In the offers in my account on NowTV they have a different offer.

It does seem I can take the £24 offer without a penalty for cancelling less than 6 months.

The catch is, I have to decide by this Sunday (29th June) for the £24 option which means to get all the tests I need two months.

Opinions?

Do you know anyone who pays for Sky Sports? Ask if you can add your device to their Sky Go account in exchange for a pint or two. Or go to a pub or rugby club and watch the games. Better than being saddled with a 4-5 month subscription after the last test.

Unfortunately no, the pubs and clubs may not be a realistic option with all games at 11am, and it would probably cost me more money in drinks or beers. I'm on a fixed income that doesn't allow for a lot of luxuries.

I don't think the first (£24 offer) has a minimum six months, still that's £50 for all the games.

Can't you just sail the High Seas?

It's also on Talksport if you don't mind radio only coverage. That’s what I’m doing for tomorrow.

It's finding a decent source, someone pointed me to a couple of sites, but they didn't have last week's game live.

I can do the two months option because I have nephew's who will share the cost, so is not all doom and gloom.

Just found this on a Russian site

📸2003. Little Dan Sheehan on the set of a commercial with Jonah Lomu. At that time, no one could have imagined that the boy withball would grow into one of the world's best hookers.

💪Today, Sheehan is a key player for Ireland and captain of the British and Irish Lions at the start of the tour.

Life comes full circle.

Another Irish player who grew up dreaming of being an all black I see.*

*this is a joke by the way

It renders him unlistenable (or very listenable if you like laughing at how stupid someone who's actual job is writing about this stuff can sound). You may well disagree with what one of them says, but you can see some sort of reasoning behind it. With him it just seems pure spite.
