Hey Everyone,

I saw this on youtube and had to post it here:

I don't think that I have seen an end to a game that is as mad as this.

The commentator's call alone is worth a watch.

California is playing Stanford in a 1982 game of American Football and Stanford, with Elway as QB goes on a huge drive to set up and make a field goal to win the game by a single point or do they..?

Probably the best finish to a College Football game i've seen footage of, along with Oklahaoma vs Boise State this year or Doug Fluties Hail Mary.

Poor John Elway - the Greatest NFL QB of all time never played in a bowl or had a winning season in college.

I've seen this game a ton of times now thanks to ESPN Classic, and it is certainly one of the best finishes ever. This years Boise St game, I felt was better. The play calling was amazing and ballsy and it ended with the star runningback proposing to his cheerleader girl friend on national TV. Maybe it was just that I got to watch it live and the Cal/Stanford band game was before I was born but it is certainly a great finish.

Boise St vs Oklahoma:

It's a bit fuzzy, but that last play fake is so amazingly cool. It's absurd.

you know the boise state game would be much much much better if it meant something like a national championship, then i would put it down as the best of all time wihout a doubt.

I've never seen these, and bloody hell they're good! I wish i had pay-tv, i would really like to be able to watch NFL on a regular basis. Once a year on sbs (free to air tv channel in aus) they have the super bowl.

Yeah it is hard to keep up with the latest when you get zero coverage.

I like watching American Football - but it is so hard to arrange it and thenb you have no idea about who is playing and stuff like that.

Also I have yet to meet anyone in Melbourne who even has a passing interest in it although I work with a guy who is a big baseball fan - he even plays it in Melbourne.

that last few passes are referred to religiously as "The Play", possibly the best rmbed play in not just college footy, but professional footy as well. and footy fans refer to it as "The Game". evry yr the stanfrod cardinals play the damn bruins, "The Big Game" and compete for "The Stanford Axe". in my opinion, one of those passes wwas forward, stanford shld have won

"The Big Game" Is Ohio State vs Michigan, or at least thats what theyve called one of the best rivalries in all of sports for years now (much better than shitty Stanford vs Cal and yes im aware thats what they call Stanford vs Cal, but seeing as Stanford is ****, and Cal is decent I tend to think its lost its prestige, if it had any in the first place). OSU v Mich is only matched really by possibly USC v UCLA but even then that's questionable.

Millions of people around the country watch OSU v Mich whereas only fans of Stan and Cal watch that game.

I didnt know that was "the play" i always tend to think of Fluties hail mary when i think about that. My "the play" has got to be 2002 when Will Smith intercepted the pass at the endzone to ensure the Bucks go on to the national championship. Or maybe its the 4th and 14 they completed in the first overtime against Miami.

Call it what you want, Stan v Cal is not the biggest rivalry in college football.

haha me too

poor bucks..

i read where the buckeyes played so shitty partly because urban meyer changed his ENTIRE gameplan, f***in tressel, can't believe he got outcoached..

at least you didn't get beat by Boise State.

Next year Sooners, Next year...

But this was better, especially starting around the 3 minute mark.

I thought for sure you were going to be posting a video of the BCS National Championship game between Ohio st and Florida....

I was, but it wasn't that impressive, just a midget monkey running around for an hour and a half getting smashed.

But for those who are into that kinky stuff involving little Midget Boys - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2HH2mpYKZIA

anyone tell me?
[/b]

Illegal forward pass durng Kick/Punt returns or after a forawrd pass.
[/b][/quote]

Or a forward pass once the ball passes the line of scrimmage.
