Computer AI

We always want better AI. Alongside player control it is the single most important aspect of a sports game (of any game?).

You can have all the licenses in the world with photo realistic graphics and sublime controls, but if your backs all collect on the blindside of a ruck on defense then it's all worthless.

The AI in team sports is usually lacking too, very difficult to master.

while I agree wholeheartedly...

on the first point - edit

on the second point - use defensive plays and they will align as you wish...

also on the separate matter of some saying that on attack the team bunches when not doing a set play - simply, if this IS a problem for you, choose a set play but break out of it and do your own move at the last second instead - they will have spread as they prepared for it.....easy...with some lateral (thought that is).

if individuals are given better AIor abilities which increase this exponentially...then surely that will affect the overall AI if the team itself? yeah? that's what I reckon too.
