Confirmed Transfers

Not very excited by this at all tbh. He's a class player but is coming into a position of relative strength and is only with us for a season, so is hardly building towards the future. Along with the Tom Hooper signing it really seems like we're pumping quite a lot of cash into the wrong positions; a quality 10 really should be top of the list.

Yep. When your 9/10 axis is arguably the weakest in the league, it doesn't make much sense to spend big on centres …

From what I can see, he will only be with you from December - June anyway. Same money could have secured you a higher quality option at 9

Saying he thought the game would have progressed - well from an attacking sense, which was his thing it clearly has.

Bemoaning the lack of world stars which Wasps had back in the day. Er, where are Wasps now? Inflated salaries aren't the key reason they went under but they didn't help.

Reads like he couldn't get the deal he wanted. Well he chose to spend what should have been his very peak years away from the game, which will have detracted from his value. He's nearly 34 and now comes across as a bit of a gun for hire - a year here, a few months there in differing codes as long as the ball's roughly oval shaped.

When he was at Wasps the bubble was being inflated but it's now well and truly burst and everyone has to live with that. He's doing what he feels right for him - can't criticise him for that, but you can't expect to command regal salaries in a struggling industry.

Edinburgh have signed Scottish-qualified props James Whitcombe from Leicester Tigers and Rhys Litterick from Cardiff.

Is Dan off?
He was linked to French clubs early in the season but nothing for a while - I reckon his injury might have scared them off (like it did with Jonny Hill last year) so they'll wait until he's out of contract next season and available for free (both twins currently under contract)

Nick Schonert --> Dynoboars

Will be raging if that leads to him signing for Tigers rather than getting match fitness before signing for Worcester

Tigers head of media confirming on a podcast a current prem club DOR called up Tigers basically telling them that they need to hire him

Chiefs and Falcons going to be playing 5-a-side next season at this rate*
Good signing for Quins though, as you said - depth at 9 is definitely an issue for them

Edit: Forgot that Chiefs signed Varney
