Great win by Hurricanes, they played really well! Ma'a Nonu was superb in attack and Piri Weepu was also great in the no.10 jersey.Richie McCaw got another yellow card ,looks like the refs have finally opened their eyes . That try by Zac Guildford looked a bit dodgy though...

Match detail
We are waiting for the kick off.
The teams are on the field.
The match is underway.
.00: The Hurricanes get a free kick so they kick for the line out but The Crusaders win the line out.
.00: The Crusaders get blown up for offside.
.00: Piri Weepu takes the penalty kick and slots it.
.00: Tim Bateman makes a break but is caught.
.00: The Hurricanes by the way are playing in their changed strip which for some strange reason is Silver and Black.
.00: Casey Laulala has a break but when he is caught the Crusaders give away a free kick which Conrad Smith takes quickly.
.00: Hurricanes scrum in the Crusaders 25, they win the ball and work it to the middle. Crusaders offside - Penalty in front of the posts and warning to the Crusaders.
.00: Piri Weepu takes the penalty kick and slots it.
.00: Things are a little untidy for the Crusaders. They are however staring to get numbers to the ball. 65% possession for the Hurricanes so far.
.00: The Crusders get a penalty so Colin Slade takes the kick from way out. He strikes it well but it misses. The Canes keep it alive until it gets lost forward.
.00: Thorn takes another clean lineout. Its slow but it comes out for the Crusaders and they swing it wide until the Hurricanes defence gets back and a knock forward goes in.
.00: Rodney So'oialo gets an intercept pass and races away until he gets called back for Piri Weepu being offside.
.00: Colin Slade takes the penalty kick and misses.
.00: Casey Laulala gets the ball at pace after a Jared Payne break. They move the ball too quickly for the Hurricanes defence and its gets stretched and Laulala scores the Crusaders first try. Typical Crusaders stuff.
.00: Colin Slade slots the conversion from the corner flag.
.00: It looks like Kade Poki might be coming off as he is hobbling.
.00: The Hurricanes fly down the wing and Zac Guildford goes over for the try. We go upstairs to check. It takes some time to decide. Eventually Guilford is awarded the try - grounding was suspect. All credit to Conrad Smith who made the break.
.00; Piri Weepu's kick from the corner is a beauty.
.00: Ooh, the crowd is happy as their hero Richie McCaw is sent to the bin (yellow) for not coming in through the gate.
.00: Another warning for the Crusaders. Penalty to the Hurricanes. Piri Weepu takes the shot from 40m out. He strikes it well. His kicking is showing up Slade.
.00: The Hurricanes put pressure on the Crusaders and it pays off as Stephen Brett slices a clearance kick. 5m line out to the Canes. They mess it up by not throwing in straight. Saders scrum 5m. That goes badly so they get a free kick and clear the ball.
.00: Hurricanes try to attack but the Crusaders try to slow the ball down as they are a man down. The Hurricanes get numbers on the wing, they get caught.
.00: As the Hurricanes are on attack the Crusaders defence holds so strong that it wins a free kick.
.59: The Siren for half time goes. Its half time.
The half time score was Crusaders 7 Hurricanes 16
The second half is underway.
.00: Both teams are testing each other's defence. Casey Laulala makes break and they keep the ball alive and swing out to the wing where Brad Thorn is waiting to dive over the line for the try.
.00: Colin Slade takes the conversion but it goes wide.
.00; Ouch intercept pass from Alby Mathewson. He shows some good pace and scores under the posts.
.00: Weepu converts the try to extend the lead.
.00: The Hurricanes are playing a Crusaders type game plan now by pinning the opposition back in their 25.
.00: Better play from the Crusaders as they work the ball into the Hurricanes 25. Rodney So'oialo gets a warning as Dickinson awards the Crusaders a free kick.
.00: Adam Whitelock finds some space and runs through the Hurricanes defence. Crusaders keep the ball alive until a knock on goes in.
.00: Weepu has shot at a drop goal but its well off and short. The idea wasn't bad but the execution was poor.
.00: Excellent play from the Hurricanes as Gear has sniping run and his support find holes in that Crusaders defence. The pressure continues to mount for the Crusaders.
.00: The pressure pays off as Ma'a Nonu breaks through to score the Canes third try.
.00: Piri Weepu converts and the Crusaders are in trouble. A further blow for the Crusaders as Casey Laulala goes off injured. He has been one of their best this week.
.00; The Crusaders are fighting their way back into the game. Stephen Brett puts in chip kick over the Hurricanes defence but the ball gets knocked on as it comes to hand.
.00:Kieran Read comes off for the Crusaders.
.00; Never a team to give up the Crusaders slice through the Hurricanes as Isaac Ross stes up Jared Payne for the try.
.00; Colin Slade slots the conversion.
.00: The Crusaders are playing with urgency now as Colin Slade makes break. It ends as a knock on goes in.
.00: It's all Crusaders attack now and the Hurricanes just have to defend. Pressure is being piled onto the Canes defence just 5m out.
.00: The Crusaders put together 13 phases until the ball gets stolen and then cleared by the Hurricanes.
.00: Alby Mathewson comes off for the Hurricanes.
.00; Penalty to the Crusaders for a high tackle. They kick for the line as they need tries. If the Crusaders score a try and lose they still win 2 bonus points.
.00: Rodney So'oialo gets shown the yellow card so the Hurricanes will finish with 14 men.
.00: Thomas Waldrom catches the Hurricanes napping after a free kick and scores the bonus point try for the Crusaders.
.00: Colin Slade missed the conversion.
.00: Richie McCaw goes on attack but he knocks on in the tackle.
