Nice starter to the weekend with Clermont Bordeaux. This one could be a real cracker. Then Toulouse v Montpellier Plat de résistance. SF v Grenoble if you're still hungry for dinner.
Then I'll tune into the Blue Barnum post-match gig for a bit of a giggle...

Biggest game of the weekend is Bayonne v Castres.....cannot see past a home win BUT a loss and the Rowers are in trouble!!

I am tempted to go for home wins apart from Lyon and Brive where a home win at either could be a shock result..............

personally can't see Castres touching Bayonne at home probably one of the more secure home wins. There are a couple of dodgy ones Brive i think will win they are good at home not exciting but very solid, Toulon could well get at least 4 pts at Lyon, and of course then there is Toulouse, FTD could be starting, if not he will be on the bench but still TOP SECRET at the moment.Toulouse have injuries and France selection problems but so do we, so it will be one those on the day games, we won last year in Toulouse so who knows but will have to give this to Montpellier (how surprising) we are going for the weekend, its the clubs annual bash for benevoles and club officials, always a very entertaining weekend.
so home wins for Bayonne, Brive, Clermont, La Rochelle, Paris, away wins for Toulon and Montpellier.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Montpellier team for tomorrows game................

Le XV de départ: Nagusa ; Ranger, Tuitavake, Ebersohn, Dupont ; (o) Lucas, (m) Paillaugue ; Battut, Qera, Mowen ; Privat (cap), Tchale-Watchou ; Cilliers, Geli, Watremez.
Les remplaçants: Ivaldi, King, Timani, Tulou, Pelissié, Trinh-Duc, Viriviri, Attoub.

and the opposition...........

Le XV de départ:
Poitrenaud ; Médard, David, Fritz, Matanavou ; (o) McAlister, (m) Bézy ; Harinordoquy, Picamoles, Camara ; Lamboley, Tekori ; Tialata, Flynn, Steenkamp.

Remplaçants: Ferreira, Tolofua, Johnston, Maka, Nyanga, Doussain, Clerc, Vermaak.

will miss tomorrows Internationals in Toulouse for the game, but may have to endure France on Sunday. but will have a hang over so it may not be that painful..........!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good line up on both sides. That backline for MP look fairly ominous. Glad to see youngsters Bezy and Camara starting for us. Lucas has done pretty well but I think FTDwill come on either to sort things out or finish the job !

PS you will need une belle casquette plombée to watch the tripe on Sunday  I will tune into the post-game whinge for another round of the Muppet Show

Clermont 12 Bordeaux 17 Half Time. UBB down to 14 men and rattling Clermont. Nice open running rugby..One could see UBB doing a job on les jaunards..
Beauxis drop UBB 20 pts !!
Clermont struggling to hold on to the ball..
Clermont try at last!! 25 v 23 Lesgourge on Guildford sucks blades
31-23 UBB so close..

Suprise win for Grenoble agst SF. That was one on my watch and it didn't disappoint. Could SF be the one struggling to stay in the top4?? I can't see Toulon Clermont Racing dropping out so if one must fall it could be the pinkies. After a lucky 1 pt win over UBB they showed a suprising lack of control at home. Great win for Grenoble.
