The system of "doublons" (championships day organised the same day of international tests) have put a certain mess in the Top 14... it has profited to promoted and big teams which have far less international players... Toulouse and Clermont are clearly unadvantaged... Stade français has a harsh season.

I would like to be able to rank them, but I can't as we can't get Top 14 rugby in the Uk

For several years know, french top 14 has been very "opened" ... I mean, there are 7 or even 8 teams which can win it, and every years we have 2 or at least one surprises, for the good or for the worse... This year seem to go the same... I find the top 14 too long championship, it needs a "réforme", a true one. Actually, french top 14 make the french national team a very scrap one. you can put the coach you want at the head of France, if your best players do 35-40 match a year, you can't longly compete with SH teams nor home nations... if you look at the french side, they can play at top level about 50-60 minutes a match, and most of the time, France dominates ALL their opponents in that time, but, suddenly they fall down a,d are crushed, without anymore energy (we say even anymore juice ere : "jus", in the electric way). But at least, Top 14 stay interesting till the end, as many things are determinated only in the very last days of the championship.

I don't think we can get it in the USA either? I've never seen it on CBS, NBC or ESPN, the three broadcast outlets that televise rugby here.
