hey is it legal to use blade studs such as adidas predator absolutes (£130 :p from t'internet) in the lower divisions. cos i'm not sure if i need to get another pair of specialised rounded studs for my boots.

you shouldnt have a problem

i used to have preds like jonny wilkinsons myself

are the ones your talking about molded or studs?

i cant find a pic..

Blades aren't allowed in Scotland anymore, the SRU banned them I think. A couple refs I had last year made our full back change is boots. I think blades can do some damage.

yep, last season peter bracken of london wasps completely split his kneecap open on a stud, although they can offer beter traction on the soft ground n all

I think it all depends on how you feel after you do that to someone, its either guilt or joy.

I personally won't ever go near them.

well my FG boots this year are these:

or some form of the predator pulsions that i had last year, i really liked them for firm ground

for soft ground

nike mercurial or talaria vapors red

im leanin more towards talaria coz they are much cheaper.. but they dont have the micro carbon parts on them...

we'll see eh?

flashy boots..

nice, but personally i like the boots traille's wearing in this pic, the nike legends in that colorway. last season i used mercurials, but they tended to give me blisters. very accurate for field goals if i remember...

you reckon the mercurials are accurate for goal kicking?

cuz ive been looking into them and they have a really narrow kicking area.. me being a goal kicker im gonna look into either the mercs or the total 90's for my soft ground and i need to make sure that whatever boot i do decide on is good for goal kicking

Aye, total 90's are what I got, they work, and I love them. Though they were very expensive for me.
