At this stage some of the coaches have to accept some blame for not doing their homework on Jones. Having said that maybe they just wanted to get England rugby team on their CV.
I suspect some potential coaches did, partly explaining why we've ended up with what we have.

Undoubtedly. But CVs always look a bit better if you stay in a job for a reasonable period and can justifiably use words like 'successfully' and 'improved'.

Thats a shame as we're struggling for wingers....oh hang on...

I see LCD has signed to go to France post WC...£300k a year

So post WC we'll be looking for the new batch of hookers....

Eeehhhhhhh, Eddie seems very keen on Arundell, he took him on tour over the summer/actually played him despite having single digit appearances for his club
I think he would've been on the bench this autumn if not for injury

Rest of the year sounds much more dramatic than 3 weeks
Almost like they're hoping people will think it means the rest of the season, and click the link (earning £££) to see WTF

Times saying 'well into' January for Smith.

Sinckler also out for up to 4 weeks. The Boks literally beat us up.

So if he gets delayed his return then for 6N does that mean Ford gets called back up to play 10? Because it would be insane to not have the world class 12 Faz at 12!

IIRC Tabai was saying 6 weeks last night (or might have been Smith himself on social media). Presumably that's 6 weeks from last weekend

Bit of gossip on a Sunday morning,
Says what we've all been saying tbf

What about Fin Smith...hes been in the squad all through the 6n hasnt he?

Farrell at 10, Smith back up...or is he TOO raw for a full 6n.
