Exiles sign Spratt and Samson

London Irish have signed up Ospreys centre Jonathan Spratt and scrum-half Ross Samson from Edinburgh.

Spratt played a couple of times for Wales, against Canada and the USA, and has put pen-to-paper on a one-year deal while Scotland Sevens star Samson has signed on for two campaigns.

Would've thought that Spratt would stick at Ospreys, with Hook leaving, to try and get more game time there, and he'll be fighting with Ansbro and Hape to get one of Seveali'i/Mapusuas shirts (though both of those are likely to be away for the WC and 6N)

Spratt needs to give the Ospreys younger centres a chance now, I think Beck has more potential

he is simply not good enough

Spratt's a decent center just keeps on getting injured, maybe a change of scenery with do him good.
