The reason you see a lot more Samoans/Tongans/Fijians etc than Tahitians in rugby is also down to the population size. The samoan/tongan/fijian population has experienced an enormous growth with the emigration to NZ. For Tahitians however, it is not that easy to move to France, literally halfway around the globe.
