Any confirmation that French v non-French will go ahead?

Anyway...

Cardiff v Quins
Castres
v Munster

Wasps v Toulouse
Ospreys v Racing
Connacht
v Leicester
La Rochelle v Bath
Exeter v Glasgow
Bristol v Stade

Leinster v Montpellier
Northampton v Ulster
Bordeaux
v Scarlets
Clermont v Sale

aka 'Prem clubs to struggle to travel again, except to Wales'. Castres-Munster and Connacht-Leicester probably the closest.

Sanderson did an interview yesterday where he said Sale will definitely be travelling to Clermont - sounds like the visa and quarantine issues have been solved

Munster fans playing down our chances, but I am not entirely sure if Castres will put out a strong side against us, in which case I would expect us to win. They have some big games coming up in Top 14, have lost their first 2 European games, both of which they played seconds teams in, and will probably want to avoid Covid to too many of their frontliners. They'll probably still be a very tough side to put away, and I know they're a nightmare at home, but I think we will take it.

Will know soon enough, but I imagine we will go with a pretty settled side, with Hodnett and Crowley starting. De Allende is touch and go for fitness and I would say the likes of Kendellen may feature from the bench.

Logic says Connacht are in pretty good form and should back this god domestic form up with a statement European performance at home. History says Connacht will underperform and fall off in the second half.

Well we are missing a few too and Castres away is never an easy game.

Munster: Mike Haley; Andrew Conway, Chris Farrell, Rory Scannell, Keith Earls; Jack Crowley, Conor Murray; Dave Kilcoyne, Niall Scannell, Stephen Archer; Fineen Wycherley, Tadhg Beirne; Peter O'Mahony (C), Jack O'Donoghue, Gavin Coombes.

Replacements: Diarmuid Barron, Jeremy Loughman, John Ryan, Jean Kleyn, John Hodnett, Craig Casey, Jake Flannery, Shane Daly.

Few things. Surprised Hodnett isn't starting tbh, he's been very good of late. Kleyn is clearly not fully fit or he walks in. I'd almost have left Ahern in to start and let Wycherley drop, but he has some dog in him, which will be handy. We will miss Damo big time. Him being injured will give Flannery a big chance off the bench though. Also surprised we didn't go 6/2 split on the bench. Archy just shouldn't be starting this game given how he's played recently, but I expected it. Would have liked Josh Wych on the bench as well.

Be interesting to see how Karl Martin gets on. Was highly rated but didn't get an academy offer straight out of school so went over to Montpellier. Suppose its working form him if he's starting in Europe at 19 even if it is Covid enforced.

Not a hint of being last-man standing there, not at all.

Is this his first start at 10?
After almost a year on the sidelines
For us, yes.
But then, he's the closest thing to a FH we have upright.

Except Worboys, who isn't registered for EPRC

Not that were desperate or anything.
