help about mod i added to rugby 08

hi
just wondered if anyone could help i added a mod for an up to date roster and my game keeps crashing when i try to start it to play from desk top shortcut when i check the problem it comes up with an appcrash the mod was the roster v3.0
can anyone help me fix it?

Did you apply the patch to a "clean" Rugby 08 or did you put it over an existing patch?

no its an original unpatched rugby 08
