Awesome management from McNamara.

He was being lauded the other day for removing the divides between rival club players. He's now alienated almost all of his squad by the sounds of it.

Rumours have it that a number of players went out on the lash - after McNamara instigated a no drinking policy - the other players were all disciplined at training the following day. Hock didn't turn up to training at all so was dismissed.
This is all rumours, mind. Will be interesting to hear his side of it.

Enforced drinking bans always seem like a bad idea to me.
Much better to just inform the players why you don't want them to drink at let them make up their own mind.
