IF you know, you know

I must be getting old, this entire thread seems to be in a different language.

However I do remember queuing up to see the original Star wars with the school rugby team when it came out.
Thank God it's not just me. I have no idea what is going on here. Might as well be speaking Jawa.

The links provided in the OP may help with understanding, but yeah... if you know, you know.

I got all the references (one because I remember who Reg Shoe is) but I've no idea about PPC.

but I've no idea about PPC.
Me either - but I've also go no context for PPC - was it brought up by the poster I've got on ignore?
Only PPC I can think of (because I'm old) is Prescription Pre-payment Certificate to reduce the cost of NHS prescriptions

It's the wiki you linked in the first post 😄
Ahhh, okay - you mean the one that isn't wiki? but who's url is ppc.fandom?
Its homepage says

Welcome...

... to PPC Wiki, the wiki about the Protectors of the Plot Continuum that anyone can edit!

PPC Wiki is the knowledge repository of the PPC community. If you're looking to join the community, you should go introduce yourself on the PPC Posting Board. That's where we hang. This is just where we keep track of all the various crazy things our members get up to—and believe us, that's a lot of crazy.
I've nothing to do with it, other than google showing it to me as a brief explanation of WHY geek pride day is 25th May (I knew 2 of the 3 relevances, but not the star wars one)

Are you unsure if people who play 40K are geeks?

On that topic, I saw GW shared 20M with its staff. Good eggs.
One good thing after a pretty terrible history of not crediting their artists etc.

Not to mention that prices have increased massively (for the same miniatures some time a Land Raider still uses the kit from the 90's) making it prohibitively expensive to get onboarded into the game. Combined with a lack of support for their smaller games. Codex Creep also an issue.

I'm glad I mostly got out the game 10 years ago.
Although Space Hulk is THE best 'board' game I've played.
You need to play a lot more board games (but I recommend Nemesis as an updated and better version of that style of game). Space Hulk is good mine but costs a fortune and reprints are rare.

Yeah, my brother has very few good things to say about the company. I won't go into detail as it's not my place, but depsite working there for over 10 years he was happy enough to leave when he could go self-employed.
