I met a girl who has a father high up with the patriots and said she could get us tickets, but we were all in Cali at the time and i wasn't going to leave the sunshine and fly across the length of the country just to watch a team i didn't support.

I reckon you missed a treat not going to watch an American Football game out there! I was lucky enough to head out to Hawaii in April and sampled the Pro Bowl there and I must say it was an incredible expereince to go and watch an NFL game!
