Hi, my name is Ross, I'm 16 and I live in North Kent. September gone I had started my course at college. I go there every Mondays and Fridays, which leaves me at home doing nothing every Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. All my life I've wanted to become part of a club of a sport, but the things which were holding me back from doing so is that my parents are quite laid back and go wherever life takes them or I was too shy or too young to find out more myself. I am south Kent, so no good to you there.

But as you are in north Kent, just go along to your local rugby club and introduce yourself and what you would like to do.

If you are near Blackheath, you could join them, the oldest open rugby club in the world!

Afraid to say my club aren't quite in your neck of the woods but there are clubs near you. If you go to this link - http://www.englandrugby.com/my-rugby/find-rugby/ - you'll be able to see which are closest.

At your age, you'd be looking for a club with a colts section - 16 is legally too young for man's rugby - but I'm fairly sure there are some around that fit the bill.
