Kits 2013/2014

Don't you guys think that the current Wallabies kit manufacters (KooGa) design is a bit boring. Too be honest it I personally think that it looks ugly and I prefer either Asics or Canterbury Rugby because it actually looks good for example the new Australian T20 Cricket jersey looks beast. What do you guys think

I just saw these shirts and I LOVE the Chiefs shirt, might get me one. But is it me or do other people think adidas hate the Highlanders???? Also the away shirts look awesome as well.

The first NZ one looks sweet. Also, whats the deal with the v-shapes on league jerseys? I mean, it probably looked cool the first time, but come on.

Because KooGa/BLK are a bad rugby sponsor ans they should go back to manufactering League and Netball KITS

Also Nush I can answer that for you,

BLK is a franchise of KooGa and Australia just wanted BLK

I don't think the same, bud. To my KooGa > Asics

Kooga was closely involved in the last RWC with Australia, Samoa, Fiji, Canada, Tonga, Georgia and Romania:

KooGa took part in the Super Rugby with one of the top teams like Brumbies:

KooGa won Super Rugby with Reds in 2011:

KooGa won the Tri Nations with Wallabies in 2011, after 10 years:

KooGa supports historical teams of Europe as Gloucester or Ospreys:

Now BLK support teams like...

Canterbury, one of the best ITM team:

or Kiwis in Rugby League:

And some other teams in rugby league. For me KooGa = Rugby, Asics is a brand new in rugby. I hope they make cute shirts, now they have the responsibility to dress two of the top teams in our sport like Boks and Wallabies, I hope they do well.

Cheers

What's makes them bad?

there logo

FT are you for real?

I'd say, a good sponsor should have quality products, good designs, and serve the needs of the team. Being a rugby associated brand is good for image but is far less of a concern.

I own two Kooga jerseys and two pairs of BLK shorts, all of which are great pieces of kit. Design is a matter of personal taste, and I have to say I've seen some nice touches. The embossed maple leaves/ stars on Canada and Australia, the tribal-inspired designs for Samoa and Fiji. Maybe you don't like their design for the Wallabies, but why not just wish for a better design next year instead of hating on the brand?

Why would so many national and club teams use them if they weren't giving them what they need from a manufacturer? And I don't know what it's like in other parts of the world, but to me Kooga is a pretty rugby-specific brand.

All that aside, if your team does well and has success on the field, does it really matter?
