Lewsey back with Wasps

World Cup winner Josh Lewsey has come out of retirement to sign a short-term deal with Wasps.

The 34-year-old hung up his boots in 2009, having enjoyed a trophy-laden career.

During his time at Wasps, he won four Premiership titles, two Heineken Cups, a European Challenge Cup and two domestic Cup successes - as well as playing his part in the 2003 World Cup success over Australia.

However Lewsey, who scored 22 tries in 55 appearances for England, will now provide cover for the back three at Adams Park until the end of the season.
