Manchester United's Paul Scholes has ended his playing career, aged 36.

What a legend five moves ahead remember F.A. Cup final v Chelsea a few years ago picked out about 10 50 yard balls with pinpoint accuracy. Also some of his goals like the onev Villa and the one against Barca were amazing.

Sad day for football. A far better footballer than either Gerrard or Lampard and a fine professional. True United legend, wish him all the best in whatever he does.

He has been an absolutely key player for Utd for the best part of 20 years. He would still walk into my starting England 11. He was what they were missing in the WC last year really. One of my favourite players of all time.
