I have been browsing through some of the 'cult' figures of rugby and came across Martyn Madden. I was wondering if anyone had any idea what his playing weight was?
I have read he went up to 25 stone then played a game off the bench at 22 stone and possibly went as low as 18 stone according to the Cardiff RFC site. Does anyone know or remember what was the maximum weight he played at? Just curious to know because he is only 5'11 and would have been one of the bulkiest props if he was 21/22 stone.
