Poulter, Casey and Donald are all looking good.

The "big 4/5" are going to be favourites but I really think one of our young English players could do it.

I'm not sure if any of those 3 are capable of winning a major just yet, Westwood is still the best English hope.

Obviously I'd want to see Harrington do well and on the back of his first tour win in the States he can't be discounted but I'd still go for Singh or Goosen to be challenging come Sunday.

Ernie Els. Because he wins a lot of things, and always seems to be there or there abouts at the end of any major tournament.

Hefty will win... he'll finally get the better of Mr. Personality Woods.

Now that Daly is sponsored by Hooters how can you not cheer for him though!

it'll be a top 10 player that wins the masters - goosens, woods or singh

i would like to see sergio up there again although his putting is not the best & these greens are super fast

Poults is ominously poised to attack for the weekend whilst Howell and Donald lead the field.

DiMarco characteristically leading at the early stages, Björn going well at -4, Woods looks poised to strike at -2. Thought Goosen would be putting in a decent challenge this week.

Not looking so good for the Irish, Harrington Clarke and McDowell struggling badly.

Having backed Ernie Els to go all the way, he seems to have dropped away rather rapidly.

Looks like Tiger could tear it up. Good to see some BBA from Donald and Howell after some dodgy points in their days, finishing well.

Good to see Björn competing again in a major after his colossal **** up in Sandwich in 2003.

I don't like DiMarco's chances now that he's paired with Tiger. If he wasn't paired with him it would be different but having to deal with galleries moving after Tiger's shot and before you have and all the other pressures that come with playing with Tiger will be too much I think.

To say nothing of Tiger's game... if he plays like he did today then I think he'll don the jacket tomorrow night.

Currently

Woods -12 thru 14
DiMarco -11 thru 14
Donald -5 (69)
Goosen, Weir, Hensby, Mickleson all -5

Great stuff. It's going to the wire

great finish, exact same finish for DiMarco in the playoff as on the 18th but Woods saw him off with a birdie on the first play off hole.

Woods' second shot on 16 was some effort, although he didn't half do his best to try and lose it on 17 and 18 to give DiMarco some hope.

best golf action ive seen in ages, heaps of drama!
looks like another vintage tiger year in the making
