Does anyone know what Apps are available for tablets or computers to help track players, field positions, etc?
Something easy like that used during sports programmes on their tablets. My son wants me help analysis his play during school matches.

Thanks for this goodNumber10. I am just looking at one of the apps on line now.
The coachseye.com has editing tools which might help but i notice both are aimed at individual sports and not really team sports.

What software do you use when adding circles to players and is there anything else you can add to the video as well as circles?

hey! I think you could use ubersense and coachseye to analyse running lines etc... it's just not designed for it so it would need a little bit of lateral thinking.

I personally use: http://www.sonycreativesoftware.com/moviestudiope - It's not too expensive, but has some limitations - but it's enough for what i want to do right now. For adding the circles i just have a bmp of a circle prepared that i just overlay and position in the video editing app.

But for the stuff i do, I could just use any regular video editing app like Sony Vegas or Adobe Premier.

I'm actually thinking of giving ubersense a go this weekend at a friendly game so i'll report back/pm you if you want.

This might be good: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=toj3kDbiR5o

i gave coaches eyes a try this evening and it's perfect for it.... you can pause the video draw in what you, record a voice over at the same time and then export it to their cloud or to youtube etc...

it's very good.

Thanks goodNumber10 I will try it one of my children as they are both playing sport today.
