David Moffett is to leave his role as Regional Rugby Wales chief executive and departing Scarlets boss Stuart Gallacher will take his place.

A RRW statement confirmed Gallacher will take over as Moffett's six-month fixed term ends.

The pair blame the Welsh Rugby Union for what they say is a failure to reach a new WRU-regions participation deal.
