Munster vs Biarritz Olympique

Difference is though Leinster have a good academy that is constantly producing where as we aren't getting same quality although we probably are 3/4 years behind in the development cycle.
As u said Snoop it is vital in what imports are brought in and well I think a front row, back row and a utility back are what are needed and well Manning going too should mean a good player who can play 10 and 12 is imported too.

As for Keatley I can confirm the rumours are true and well it looking 50/50 still, negotiatiations started in February but died down while Europe resumed and well i'd expect they'll resume this week or next.
But can also confirm John Muldoon is been looked at as is Luke Rooney but well both are just been looked at no more.

Also do we expect BOD to go toFrance after next year to cash in on final year or 2.
I don't know as he is getting married etc like would it suit him personally but on other hand money talks.

I agree with this. Munster needs a young back that can bring in some spark to the squad. As for BOD I think he would do really well in France but it just seems that his heart is very much at leinster.

Lads was in UL tonight and well just an update is Keatley is being monitored closely but not as a back-up, but as a 10 with ROG been impact.
Really i don't believe and believe possibly that is just a bit of hype talk to help convince him down. I think Keatley will be a top class 10 but a year learning trade at Thomond before starting the big game will be much more beneficial IF he comes.

Snoop was also told a Shane Monahan may be coming down to us from Dublin. Can you inform me about him although I don't think there any truth in it.

As for Munster they did good session in UL today and seem to still have some spirit in the camp for Sunday as the Motive is Leinster vs Munster in Croker. And Munster know they really have to beat Leinster to try restore some bit of jizz in camp.
If we are to win ML we have 2 extremely difficulft games to even make final as Blues are really finding form and Leinster are really after developing under Cheika in to a class act.

Good info about Keatley and Monahan.

Monahan was top try scorer in the AIL a couple of years ago. He was a starting winger on the u20 Grand Slam team in 2007. Decent player but I don't see him getting past Johne Murphy, Ian Dowling, Doug Howlett and Denis Hurley (unless of course Hurley or Dowling is on the way out).

Well Snoop I heard him mentioned as a centre any info there.
And just an update on 2 lads - Micko seems to be hit badly with ligament trouble in ankle.
Paulie was with a specialist and the mutters are maybe his season is over and well that will be a blow for Ireland as Cullen and DOC (if Micko doesn't make it) will be our only 2 International class locks.
I know we have likes of Toner and Ulster lads but I don't think they'd be able for All Blacks.

Munsters A team are in the B&I cup final. There's alot of quality there and more then enough to improve the team in coming years.

I don't think imports should be brought in unless its an emergency. Munster have to rebuild sometime so they might as well start now.

Agreed that we have some nice talent but well it doesn't seem to make end of line. And well while we made the B&I final and it is a great achievement if you look at team it not all youngsters, Mossy Lawlor is at a other end Manning is leaving and well some players are ok at that level but the step up to ML is a big 1.
Also Leinster schools is much stronger which gives them a massive base too.

I can see what you mean with munster being in the B&I final which is great and will give those young players in munster great confidence but i very much disagree that imports should only be brought if its an emergencey. these imports add great quality, experience and spark to the irish teams. people like rocky elsom he was brilliant for leinster and has left his mark there as heaslip has learned alot from him. howlett, warick and JDV have been great this year. although I think the provinces should have an irish back bone I also think Imports play a vital role in any team. this is why Ulster have signed Rush. I think Munster need few more imports to be honest.

coonor you just summed it up perfectly as imports do massively help the development of our youths.

I think its getting to a stage now where imports are not needed for the development of youth. In fact Ireland have a problem in the tighthead prop position because most of the provinces have imports playing there. That has 3 negative effects, 1) it blocks Irish players coming through, 2) weakens the national team. The Irish scrum is an embarrassment, 3) Papers over the cracks ie theres little to no scrum coaching in Ireland. Mike Ross was brought in from Harlequins regarded as one of the best scrummagers in the GP but Leinster don't play him. He's behind TWO foreign tightheads.

Look at Johnny Sexton. He only got a game last year because Contepomi got injured and Nacewa turned out to be a poor out half. He had to get gametime to show what he could do.

Foreign players were good in the early days of Irish rugby because Irish rugby was so amatur but its moved on since then. Don't get me wrong its good to see the likes of Howlett and JDV playing for Munster but 6 NIQ (non Irish qualified) players are not needed. 3 or 4 would be about right.

thing is ross has shown hes a lazy git as he can do is scrum, kinds like nick Willmas but with no real chance of him being good in the lose.
