North V South

As I said, he (Jason White) impressed me in the latter stages of the 6N.
He's good in the line-out and hits harder than most people in the NH.
Personal bias as well, he's maybe the nicest man in rugby...that I've met at least.

I'm trying to pick both sides, that's going to be very difficult !!!

The match should be home away:

first leg at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff
second leg at the Eden Park in Auckland

Games Rules :

Offensive and Defensive bonus rules included
In case of Match Drawn after the two tests there will be extra time period with "Golden Try" rule, then Drop Goals shoot-out.

NH Management and Coaching
: Ian McGeechan, Shaun Edwards & Martin Johnson
SH Management and Coaching : Jake White, Eddie Jones & Tana Umaga

I LOVE THIS GAME !

They should do this every year, and host it in a neutral place where rugby isn't that popular, like Hong Kong or India or something.

Picked on best form each player has exhibited in the past

1-Mtawarira

16-Mealamu
17-Woodcock

19-Kankowski
20-Pienaar (can play 9,10,11,12,14,15)
21-Nonu (can play 12,13,11,14)
22-Muliaina (can play 13,15)

ps. Evans is Truly freakish at fullback. Henry is a fag for not picking him, i don't care if he's off to Europe, he makes Mils Muliaina look like a spastic crab.

Note this team has the following features:

-Superb kicking options at 9,10,12
-The most destructive impact players in the world on the bench (barring wodcock)
-Complete dominance at the lineout assured
-A Rock solid scrum
-A sensual backline

And comes with a 30 day money back guarentee if you're not satisfied with the way in which this team shits on everything that it comes up against

I don't think Giteau has ever played outside centre, and will never play at outside centre unless he doubles in size...

The problem is you've got no Argentinians...

I disagree Danny. I think his scrummaging is good, but at Loose head it is below average. He only ever plays LH in case of an injury anyway so it is not too much to worry about. If he is at TH he is fine.
[/b]
To be fair Ive seen him play only a handfull of games and he did struggle in a couple of them at tight head. I know that some props just struggle against certain opposition so perhaps that was it. As you watch him regularly I will bow to your superior Munster knowledge. When he gets a good run on the big stage we will really see his worth.Surely got to be a better bet than Hayes?

Considering Hayes' age I would prefer to see Buckley starting but the bull is just playing too well at the moment. Hopefully Buckley will wreak havoc coming off the bench on Saturday.

I would never say that Buckley is an excellent scrummager, his Loose play and Counter rucking are his best assets but when he plays Loose head he does seem to struggle. The Irish scrum didn't move an Inch backwards throughout the six nations and he did play 20 minutes at LH against England and did fine in the scrum.

The first and only time theres ever been a North vs South match was the charity match to raise money for the Asian Tsunami.

During the match, Jonah Lomu played his final game of something remotely international rugby, Chris Paterson was actually played in the correct position and prospered and Martin Johnson scowled.

Simply. Scowled

Anyone remember that Charity game back in 06 after the Tsunami, it was pretty good stuff even though the North got hammered, I remember a particularly good Mirco Bergamasco try when he caught a delicious little David Humphreys chip, but it was quite second string.

WTF?! Missed a certain 6 Nations Championship a couple of months ago?

But seriously, Parisse > Jones in nearly every aspect. [/b]

You're kidding right, Jones shits all over Parisse. Maybe the 'nearly every aspect' was everything except rugby.

 No. Parisse is one of the most complete no. 8's in the game: he's solid in the scrum and lineout, he's got a good pass and a lot of pace for a forward and he's a brilliant leader; him and Castrogiovanni were Italy's stand our players; and stand out they did. He can kick too, which is more than I can say for Ryan. To think he shines in every game playing for a currently weak side like Italy is crazy. No doubt Ryan Jones is a great player, but I'd have Parisse in my team anyday.

he's solid in the scrum and lineout[/b]
He's a number 8 they barely count in scrums, and Ryan is just as useful in the lineout, it's just the fact that Wales have better linout options makes it seem invisible.

him and Castrogiovanni were Italy's stand our players; and stand out they did.[/b]
Yeah, the same reason Blair (seriously he's nowhere near the best scrum half in the NH) stands out for Scotland, or Emerick for the USA. They wouldn't stand out in the Wales team.

He can kick too, which is more than I can say for Ryan.[/b]
I don't think Ryan's ever needed to kick, to be honest the is a bit of a void statement. We have Hook, Henson and Byrne etc. why does Ryan need to kick?

To think he shines in every game playing for a currently weak side like Italy is crazy.[/b]

1. He doesn't always, he didn't shine vs Wales (against Ryan)
2. You kinda contradicted yourself there.

So to summarise; he's good, but he's no Ryan Jones....

....yet.

1. He doesn't always, he didn't shine vs Wales (against Ryan) - He didn't have a bad game either, considering he was on the well-beaten team.
2. You kinda contradicted yourself there. - Not really.

So to summarise; he's good, but he's no Ryan Jones.... - No, he's better.

Couldn't be arsed to re-quote.

Parisse is much better than Jones, SP is the top no.8 in europe and would only be behind Spies,Kankowski and So'oialo in the world imo.
