Dan Carter and Richie McCaw
Dan Carter is living off his Lions reputation and ask Richie McCaw to try tackle Lauaki or Nonu both of them have made the guy look like a little kid
Sorry Just not a fan of either and yes I am from NZ
Im not saying they are not good just very over rated.

im with you on that one actually. carter and mccaw arnt gods. they are replaceable. yes they are extremely good, but the all blacks wont crumble without them. mccaw isnt half the leader hes cracked up to be, and carter hasnt showen his previous form.

thats not to say they wouldnt be in my starting all black lineup or anything, but when players jerseys are guarenteed, they play worse. cough marshall, cough.

Chabal is certainly overated, yes.

But he's still a very good player, far to be the best number eight on earth but really good, few people forgot to mention it ;)

Gavin Henson. If any of you have played rugby 08' he is like the best centre in the game!?!?!

Also i would have to say Tuqiri and Chabal

Definitely Berrick Barnes From the Reds. He has screwed up so much, and yet people are still constantly talking him up. The Reds need to shaft him if we have any chance for next year

What're you talking about?

He's consistently been one of the best Reds players all year and deserves a shot at inside centre for the Wallabies.

Ricky January
Wynand (Meisiekind) Olivier
[/b]

:%#%#: Januarie is frigging awesome, have you seen him for the Stormers this season? Olivier is cack, but who rates him anyway, mind you he scored a very good try against the Brumbies

Waylon Murray
Tony Brown
Nathan Sharpe
Derick Hougaard (retard)
[/b]

Agree with them all except Sharpe, Tony Brown is utter ****, i was furious when Rassie took Grant off after 50 minutes at the weekend, cost us the match

I also agree with danny, Wtf do you want Carter to do? Pull another universe outta his arse? Are you expecting him to consistently exceed his achievements during the Lions tour? He's human not a f***ing God. As for Richie McCaw even the most skilled tacklers have trouble taking down Nonu who usually breaks the first tackle every time he touches the ball. Lauaki aint a peice of cake either. Who said Richie McCaw was the best (or one of the best) tacklers? I dont recall anyone on this forum saying that. Im assuming that your criticising McCaws defence which is why you claim he is overrated. However no one overrated his tackling ability making your statement void.

In SA, it's definitely F. Steyn. Don't get me wrong, the kids got huge talent, but people rave about him far too much and always overlook the many stupid mistakes he makes that often end up costing us.
He can't pass the ball, he's a selfish player, he kicks way too much and often for no apparent reason, he has no brains, can't make crucial decisions, always runs away from the support, runs hot or cold every match (and yet not once has he been replaced in the whole Super 14 this year), doesn't play well under pressure. What's more he's been mediocre all year in each of the 4 positions he's been used in.
It's not all his fault though. He hasn't been given a chance to settle into a position and he needs someone to drill this individualistic, showy aspect of his play out, otherwise we'll lose a talented player. I have no problem with having flair, but you need a balance. At the moment he's turning into another Michalak.
What's worse he apparently wants to play flyhalf :o

I haven't watched the Reds much, so I can't say much. But I was very impressed with what I saw of him. Looked a brilliant player actually. Dependable, solid in defense, great in attack, much better than that Cooper at flyhalf. Wish we had a player like him in the boks.
Of course I can't say much cause I'm sure many will disagree with my comments about Steyn...
