Surely after seeing Simmonds as well yesterday, explosive power and pace is where the game is.
No. 8 for England Simmonds or Earl, especially if they are going to play a lock at 6.
If either were a AB they would be playing

With his line speed and step he would be as good as we already have

So frustrating seeing the options Jones has but is too stubborn to properly look at.

Any combination of that group would be far better than what we have.
Would like to see a Hill, Curry, Mercer trial game v Willis, Earl, Dombrandt

I don’t disagree, but in he interests of fairness, Mercer can’t be picked and Dombrandt is only just back from injury.

As much as I like Earl, I’d still put him behind Curry and Willis and I don’t think he’s a 6 or 8, so he’s really only competing for one spot.
