Premiership Rugby 23/24 - Rd 1

Never good when the players from a human screen around an injured player

Not sure, the camera kept away and we were shown a couple of irrelevant replays.
PvdM was shown limping to the bench after though.
It didn't last long, just not something you see - may have just been an injury to a delicate area, of course.

Have to say, the unknown ref has had a good game - good communication mostly good decisions, marched Cloete back for mouthing off to him

Chiefs gonna win Europe this year (joking).

Hodge should make the 6N squad if he keeps playing anywhere near his current level (not joking).

Is it true there was an on-pitch interview during the game after a try was scored in the Bristol game?

Jamie Langley will be the next England defence coach

Went off the boil in the 2nd half, looked like we were on for a BP early on, but clung on by the skin of our teeth in the end
Hopefully the injuries to Tommy Taylor and Jean-Luc aren't bad but I don't think we'll see either for a while (TT was out for a while with concussion issues before)

Bath actually looking decent, at least in the highlights. A back row of Underhill, Hill and Banbury should be seriously bruising on paper, I really hope it's the same in practice. Apparently discipline is still in the toilet though.
