There's a long, slightly tedious, article in the Times about all the stats behind a reimagining of Gloucester's attacking game.

Last year apparently only Newcastle (no kidding) and Sale (sorry, Olyy) had less efficient attacks.

But it's OK as their new game plan is data led, not data driven. Phew.

And in ground breaking developments they've also realised that players' endurance has to improve for a more expansive game. Who'd have thunk it?

All sounds fine on paper. Let's see what it looks like on synthetic grass.

Yeah...I'm in the stands but it just looks a bit odd. We've had a few lucky/ curious calls to say the least.....

However.....we are more physical and aggressive...I'll take that. Bristol have a hell of a team! They're put some big scores on teams this season

Good to see, especially after the last year or so. Definitely gritty. Loving Arnold putting it about. Your season will definitely be different to the previous.

I have family who travelled to the game but I couldn't make it up so watching on Discovery+. Any inside info from the ground?

I like that that they're putting the reason for the penalties on the graphics now, makes it a bit for accessible
