RTE dont like Ulster

It's ridiculous and the IRFU are entirely to blame. RTE can't tender for the UK rights and if the rightholders in GB & NI want them to block their TV signal into the Northern Ireland, they're obliged to do so.

If the IRFU haven't secured a deal with Sky which permits RTE's signal being beamed into NI homes, they should be ashamed of themselves. Essentially they're treating fans in the 6 counties as second class citizens.

What a disgrace - I'm proud of the fact rugby is the only real mainstream sport that brings the people of Ireland and Northern Ireland together, where any sectarian crap is left out of it, so they turn around and do this? Why would you want to damage something like that?
Unbelievable.

Incredibly bad move by the IRFU, not willing to dish out a bit of cash because it will probably save them some money. They'd better get it back soon or they will be alienating themselves from supporters in the north which will soon go away if they don't play their cards right. An organisation that prides themselves at times for their thirty two county spiel and rightly being very correct with flags, anthems etc..., to do this is extremely rash and incredibly bad PR.

At least you Nordies won't have to listen to George Hook though. :p
