Ruck system ideas

how about a ruck system that plays/works off the ref?

like whenyou tackle someone with george smith you hold the right analogue and the ref either says to the tackled player "let go let go" and if you bind alot of players to clean out the player the ref might change the call to "no more hands your off your feet" or "rucks been formed!" then you (being george smith as the tackler) lets go of the analogue to prevent your team getting penalised.

this combined with rucking animations such as WCR's bridging it might actually work

I think its a good idea, also should be able to pick up the ball if you make a good tackle and theres no support.

I think a tackled player should be able to pick him self up after placing the ball down when isolated. This happens a lot in S12 in reallife.

Yes. Tacklers don't get up of the ground to contest the ball at ruck - not even Smithy.

of course they do its a fundamental skill back row players develop as they are often the tackler - giving them access to turnover the ball.
