Rugby 7's Hong Kong

Hello Teachers

My first experience of Rugby was for the World Cup qualifiers in Hong Kong. It was terribly clean fun as a typhoon washed away all the blood and mud.

Anyhows I decided then to attend the Rugby 7's tournament but only half the players turned up... was this because Hong Kong is very far away or that the players had troubles with getting visas?

Hmmm... ooops maybe should have read the other threads before I posted this... I feel a tad silly now for believing folk when they said only half the team had turned up... good job I am not in Hong Kong anymore...


Anyhows it was very different from the World Cup qualifiers with the wigs, ladies showing their breasts and large gentlemen(?) eating pies...


I just thought it was to compensate for the lack of players... and thus an imprompto party... :blink:
