Scrum half Gareth Cooper to leave the Blues.

Gareth Cooper has left the Cardiff Blues. It looks like he won't be joining any club for the forseable future as he is to rest for up to a year after recommendations from the doctors due to a groin injury.

Oh well, with the emergence of Lloyd Williams he isn't really needed by the Blues. I was hoping for big things from him when he signed for the Blues, hoping to see the kinda form that meant he competed well against Peel between 03 and 05, but he's been pretty s**t really.

I do feel sorry for the guy. He's been dire for the past five years, but constantly thrust into the limelight by the Welsh management. The saddest thing is that he won't be missed by the Blues.
