Yes that start was awful and hard to take but when we actually got it together we come out only 3 points down. 2 great trys. Well done England for getting back into this. And with JG's disallowed try we've had some good play.

South Africa ran out of steam after intense starts versus Aussie last year and Ireland in 2024 (Ireland should have taken advantage but didn’t). If England can get to 10 or within 10 at H/ T they are in with a shout.

But if Genge high tackles in their red zone then it matters not.
SA completely flat since the third try. England in it with a decent shout now.
If SA start the 2nd half hard and England weather then they will win.
Expect bomb squad on early, not long after 50 mins.

There was no way South Africa could keep the intensity of the first 15 minutes up. They were blowing out of their arses at the end.

Great kick from Fin Smith.

What England do have going for them is one of the SA props having ro go a full game. Englands bench props are very green at this level.

There's got to be a better way of playing the blitz rather than just blindly lobbing it over the top?

I don't really rate Murley as an international class winger but he's had a decent game. Suppose if Arundell was allowed a run he should get his chance. Still think Freeman is far better on the wing.

England just need to hang tough and no easy access. There are tries for England here. 10 pts not a mountain
