Final minutes of SilverStorm El Salvador v Sanitas Alcobendas, fighting for both a spot in Copa del Rey semifinals and second place in regular season (behind VRAC):

The referee is crazy.

Iberian Cup game between Portuguese champions CDUL and Spanish champions VRAC:

No. They simply declined to take part in current Continental Shield, as well as El Salvador (2nd) and Alcobendas (3rd), so Spain couldn't have any entrant and the place was offered to Portugal, unrelated to Iberian Cup result. If Spain returns to Continental Shield is up to Rugby Europe and then a decision to be taken by whoever wins Liga Heineken this season.

2018 Copa del Rey will be held at Estadio Ciutat de València next April 29. A decision that hasn't been well received in Valladolid, as they held last two finals and their clubs are tipped to reach it again this season:

In spite of the lack of support from Valladolid, attendance should be pretty decent. Not a sellout like Zorrilla these past two years, but around 18,000. Great considering both teams are from a city 500 km away from Valencia and there are no top-tier teams in the host city, but obviously down from 21,000 in 2017 and 26,000 in 2016.

I'm not totally sure, but this streaming shouldn't be geoblocked so the final can be watched abroad:

15,159 spectators in the end. I leave here the full game coverage:

Another Valladolid derby will be held for the 2017-18 Liga Heineken final and it will be next Saturday at Zorrilla stadium (26k seats):

For the first time in 7 years a team has beaten VRAC Quesos Entrepinares in a league home game. It's FC Barcelona rugby team feat:

División de Honor 2020/21 - Round 11

Some crucial matches this weekend, regarding championship format this year, for both objectives, ***le and avoid relegation.

I would highlighted the match on Sunday at 12pm in Altamira between Ordizia and Alcobendas. A very close match between teams from the top of the table in recent years and who seek to end the reign of the Valladolid teams. Also Aparejadores Burgos v Barça will impact in the Best 6 group in the 2nd leg.

Into the Bottom 6 group, the only match on Saturday, 4pm Cisneros v Getxo, and on Sunday 12:30pm Santboiana v Ciencias put into play points that will be very important at the end of the season.

Two postponed games close 1st Leg of the season. Both on Sunday.

Very important match in Pepe Rojo between El Salvador and Ordizia. Not only because of the points that will be valid in the second round and to obtain a better position in the playoffs, but because the winner will be the fourth semifinalist of the Copa del Rey, joining Barça, Alcobendas and Burgos.

The other game in Madrid, this time in Paraninfo and not Central due to Madrid Sevens, between Cisneros and Santboiana gives points that will be important in the second phase of the Bottom 6, to reach one of the 2 places in the playoffs.
